About Calvary Ideal School
Calvary Welfare Association society formed by some social workers. A meeting held and decided to start some social work. In this regard it was decided that there is a big field in education line to start in a rural area and to provide best education equivalent to cities.
In this respect many places visited by manager Honble Mr. Kripal Singh and treasurer Hon’ble Mrs. Sujata Masih at last it was decided that near Basti at Harraiya there is a chance for it As people of Harraiya were also very much interested in this project because from Harraiya their children were going to Basti 30km.for studies.
So, In 1998 on 10th July in a rented building school was inaugurated by Hon’ble Ex. M.L.A. Mr.Surendra Pratap Narayan Pandey (Court Sahab) in presence of many renowned people of Harraiya. In 2005 school got affiliation by Anglo Indian U.P. Board upto class 8th.
School was running nicely under supervision of Mr. Kripal Singh and Mrs. Sujata Masih. Unfortunately in 2017 Manager Mr. Kripal Singh left for his heavenly journey and in place Mrs. Sujata Masih was elected as manager Under her supervision school was running and in 2018. It was decided that for the growth of school in favour of students it is necessary to take affiliation for higher classes and C.I.S.C.E. is the best board of English medium. So, In 2018 it was decided and file produced for NOC. In 2019 NOC got from U.P. government and after inspection by
1- Hon’ble fr.Olwyn, Principal St. Francis School Lucknow.
2- Hon’ble fr.Sibi Joseph, Principal St. Thomas School Sant Kabir Nagar Khalilabad.
3- Hon’ble Principal of Christ Church College Lucknow Mr. Rakesh Chattree school got affiliation for I.C.S.E.
There were needs of more infrastructures that all was managed by society members and friend’s. This time school is reputed institution in Harraiya as well as one of the district Basti school’s. Near about 650 students are studying. 1st batch passed out in 2022 of class X result was 100% second batch is going to be pass out. We are also preparing for permission of with all streams.
As in social services school is involved and participating in social programs along with local administration, doing best time to time and had a good reputation in society.
